Assignment:

I get nervous whenever the conversation turns to people as the subject. It is a good thing that my parents did not expect me to be a movie star or a town mayor. I would have failed at life just as it was starting. Of course this implies that I have been successful, and that could be hotly debated.
So the thing is, whenever I have to photograph people, especially myself, I’m ready to be institutionalized, just check me in, it’s simpler that way.
I did once attended a class on photojournalism. In this class we had to go downtown and photograph people! I had to walk up and talk to strangers and interact with them, yikes! The class was one semester long, and I entered it at age 55 and finished the semester at age 62. According to the Max Planck Institute, I might have been suffering from ‘cellular senescence’, a state where stress causes cells to stop normal functioning, and produce inflammatory cytokines, which is a technical way of saying that your cells are ageing fast.
So now that I’m over 62, I avoid taking pictures of people.
Well with people out of the picture <smile>, how do I fulfill the assignment? I will focus on: hands, poses, and tell a story:
