I wonder how am I to take a picture with my eyes closed? Well, I am going to use Ansel Adams’s idea of “previsualization”. According to “THE GREAT AI”: ‘Adams believed that previsualization was a purposeful mental exercise that helped photographers achieve their intended outcome’. So I will find something and then visualize what I see in that subject.

I found a huge culvert that runs under a train track. I liked the contrast of the bright grey metal against the dark shaded water, and the reflection of the opposite side. My visualization was to greatly darken the shaded portion so the bright metal will stand out.
Neat! I saw a snowy mountain peak at first, must have done too much skiing lately
Ha! Just a black diamond slope.
This is a stunning shot, even better knowing you had to close your eyes!
I’m better blind I guess!
